Who We Are

Reese Fire Rescue is the volunteer fire department serving the Village of Reese and surrounding areas, at 1955 Gugino MD St, Reese, MI 48757. This policy covers the website reesefire.org. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@reesefire.org or by calling 989-868-3661.

Information You Give Us

We collect personal information only when you fill out one of our forms:

  • Volunteer application (Careers page): your name, address, phone, email, availability, employment history, education, references, any file you attach and your answers to the application questions.
  • Burn permit: your name, phone, address, email, the date you plan to burn and the materials you will burn.
  • Contact form: your name, email, your message and any file you choose to attach.

How We Use It

We use this information only for the reason you sent it: to review your application and follow up with you, to issue and keep a record of your burn permit, or to answer your message. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who Can See It

Form submissions are stored in the website’s database and emailed to the department. Volunteer applications and burn permits go to the department officers. Contact form messages go to info@reesefire.org. Only department officers and the people who manage the website can see them. We share your information outside the department only when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep form submissions only as long as the department needs them for its records.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for the department members who sign in to manage the site.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing info@reesefire.org. We may need to keep some records, such as burn permits, for department or legal purposes.

Keeping It Safe

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to department officers and website administrators.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
